West Palm Beach, FL – THAT Agency recently launched a new website for local downtown West Palm Beach clothing company. THAT Agency was approached by the company in late 2011, concerned with their current website’s lack of flexibility and non-functioning features, they were interested in developing a new and improved feature-rich website.
With strict requirements and a need to refine their existing process, the local clothing company had a seemingly daunting task laid out before them, in building a new website.
THAT Agency stepped up by developing the new website on the scalable open source eCommerce platform, Magento. To achieve the desired functionality, THAT Agency custom integrated multiple Magento modules. A few of the larger custom integrations included syncing their online store with Quickbooks, Fedex shipping integration allowing labels to be printed directly from the admin and a custom export module to allow for easy product import and custom inventory management. Additional custom integrations included unique press release display and image zoom functionality on product detail pages.
“One of the largest challenges we had with the development of the new eCommerce website, was in determining how all of their offsite moving parts could function together with the website, while cutting steps out of the order process,” said Bill Teubner, THAT Agency President. “We were able to accommodate all requirements and refine their ordering process through thorough research, and custom implementation of the available modules.”
Happy with their current design, THAT Agency made only minor design tweaks to the current website design, including expanding it to a wider 1024px layout, which allows for a larger view on larger, widescreen monitors. With this direction, THAT Agency created a custom skin, and wrapped it around the Magento platform.
