THAT Agency constructed the www.granmeliacancun.com website in CSS (cascading style sheets), a table-less form of HTML. CSS allows for seamless graphic and text integration creating "e;clean"e; web development and design. "e;Gran Melia Cancun required a website that would visually detail their property and allow the user a seamless transition to booking a room, we incorporated the latest technologies to achieve this"e; said Bill Teubner, President of THAT Agency. The hotel's booking engine was built using Ruby on Rails technology. Ruby on Rails technology is an open source web framework for developing database back web applications.
As an additional part of the web development efforts, THAT Agency also has been contracted to manage their monthly Search Engine Optimization efforts.
